When accuracy matters, aneroid is the gold standard. The BeHealthy Aneroid Sphygmomanometer delivers clinically reliable blood pressure readings through the time-tested manual auscultation method — trusted by nurses, doctors, and caregivers worldwide for its precision and durability.

Built with a premium-quality aluminum body and a large, easy-to-read dial with a pressure range of 20–300 mmHg, this sphygmomanometer is engineered for both clinical and home use. The wide cotton cuff ensures comfortable, consistent placement for accurate readings every time. ISO81060-compliant and clinically tested.

Available as a standalone unit or bundled with the BeHealthy Dual Head Stethoscope — making it a complete blood pressure assessment kit for students, home caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

  • Clinically tested | ISO81060-compliant
  • Premium aluminum body with large-dial gauge (20–300 mmHg)
  • Wide, comfortable cotton cuff for accurate placement
  • Available standalone or bundled with BeHealthy Dual Head Stethoscope
  • FDA-registered | Ideal for clinical and home use

How to Use

  1. Place the cuff snugly over the upper arm, center aligned over the brachial artery, just above the elbow.
  2. Position the stethoscope head over the brachial artery and insert earpieces comfortably.
  3. Close the air valve and inflate the cuff until the pulse disappears, then add 30 mmHg more.
  4. Slowly release the valve (2–4 mmHg per second). The first sound you hear is your systolic pressure.
  5. Continue deflating. When the sound disappears, that is your diastolic pressure.
  6. Fully deflate the cuff after each reading. Store in a cool, dry place.

Directions

  1. Place the cuff evenly around the upper arm with the center over the brachial artery and the lower end just above the elbow.
  2. Inflate the cuff until the radial pulse (the pulse on the wrist) is no longer felt.
  3. Slowly deflate the cuff until the radial pulse reappears. The pressure at which this occurs is the systolic pressure (the top number in a blood pressure reading).
  4. Deflate the cuff further and listen with a stethoscope placed above the brachial artery. You'll hear sounds with each heartbeat. The point where the sounds first appear corresponds to the systolic pressure.
  5. Continue deflating the cuff until the sounds disappear. This point indicates the diastolic pressure (the bottom number in a blood pressure reading).
  6. If it's difficult to hear the sounds, note the pressure at which the radial pulse reappears for an approximate systolic pressure.
  7. Maintenance: Ensure regular comparison checks and calibration of sphygmomanometers for accuracy.

Frequently Asked Questions
1
Is this accurate for people with arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat?
This monitor uses oscillometric technology, which is the same standard used by most home BP monitors including well-known international brands. Like all home monitors of this type, it may produce inconsistent readings during irregular heartbeats. This is an industry-wide characteristic, not a defect. For patients with diagnosed arrhythmia or atrial fibrillation, we recommend consulting your cardiologist about the best monitoring method for your condition. For general hypertension monitoring in healthy adults, this monitor is accurate and reliable.
2
What arm size does the cuff fit?
The included cuff is a medium size, fitting upper arm circumferences of 22–32cm. This fits most Filipino adults comfortably. If you are unsure of your arm size, wrap a measuring tape around your upper arm at the midpoint between your shoulder and elbow. If your measurement exceeds 32cm, please message us before ordering so we can advise on availability of a larger cuff size.
3
How do I power this monitor? Does it need batteries?
You have two convenient options. Option 1 — USB-C power: the monitor has a USB-C port and comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable. Simply plug it into any USB-A power source — a wall adapter, laptop, desktop, or power bank. You can also use your own phone charger cable if it has a USB-C end. This is especially handy during brownouts when you can run it off a power bank. Option 2 — Battery: insert 4 × AA batteries (not included) for fully wireless, portable use anywhere — no socket needed. Most users keep batteries installed for daily home use and rely on USB-C when traveling or during power interruptions.
4
Can multiple family members use the same monitor?
Yes — this monitor supports up to 3 separate user profiles, each storing up to 45 readings. This makes it ideal for Filipino households where multiple family members — tatay, nanay, lolo, or lola — need to track their blood pressure regularly. Each user's readings are stored and tracked independently, so you can monitor trends for each person over time without the records mixing together.
5
What blood pressure reading is considered dangerous?
Here is a quick reference based on Philippine Heart Association guidelines:

Normal: Below 120/80 mmHg
Elevated: 120–129 / below 80 mmHg — monitor and improve lifestyle
High (Stage 1): 130–139 / 80–89 mmHg — consult your doctor
High (Stage 2): 140/90 mmHg or above — medical treatment usually needed
Crisis: Above 180/120 mmHg — seek emergency care immediately

A single high reading is not always cause for alarm — stress, caffeine, and movement can temporarily raise BP. Take readings at the same time daily and show the trend to your doctor rather than reacting to a single number.
6
When is the best time to take my blood pressure?
For the most consistent and accurate readings, measure at the same times every day — ideally twice daily: once in the morning before eating, drinking coffee, or taking medication, and once in the evening before bed. Before measuring: sit quietly for at least 5 minutes, keep your feet flat on the floor, rest your arm at heart level, and avoid talking during the reading. Avoid coffee, cigarettes, and exercise for at least 30 minutes beforehand. Take 2–3 readings in a row and record the average for best accuracy.
7
Does it need WiFi, Bluetooth, or a mobile app to work?
No — this model is completely standalone. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no app, and no account required. Just press the single button and your reading appears on the large backlit display instantly. Readings are saved automatically to the device memory for up to 3 users. This makes it simple and reliable for all ages, including elderly users who prefer a no-fuss device.
