The silicone-coated 3-facet bevel tip ensures a clean puncture with maximum comfort and optimal blood flow. Available in 28G (0.33mm) and 30G (0.30mm) diameters — both slim enough to minimize tissue damage and reduce the risk of callus formation at the puncture site. A fresh lancet every time means a sharper, less painful stick.

How to Use

  1. Wash hands with soap and warm water. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Load a fresh lancet into your lancing device and set your preferred depth.
  3. Choose a site — the sides of your fingertips are recommended for less sensitivity.
  4. Prick your fingertip and gently squeeze to produce a small drop of blood.
  5. Apply the blood drop to the test strip edge and wait for your glucometer reading.
  6. Safely dispose of the used lancet in a sharps container after each use.

Directions

  1. Prepare the lancet device
  2. Choose a finger for the blood sample. It's often recommended to use the side of your fingertip, as it's less sensitive. Wash your hands with soap and warm water to clean the area. Dry your hands thoroughly.
  3. Prick your finger
  4. Prepare the test strip: Take out a test strip from its container.
  5. Apply blood to the test strip: Touch the edge of the test strip to the drop of blood on your finger. Be careful not to touch the top of the test strip where the sensors are located.
  6. Wait for the reading
  7. View the result: After a few seconds, the meter will display your blood glucose level on its screen.
  8. Dispose of materials: Safely dispose of the used lancet and test strip according to your local regulations.
  9. Wash your hands again with soap and warm water.
